Spring Fever Poem by Joy Thacker

Spring Fever

I'm strolling leisurely through the park- -My tasks are yet undone- Inside the house seems still and dark- - Compared to this glorious sun- - The Robin in the cherry tree- -Invites me out to join him- -As he sings merrily for me- -And flies from limb to limb- I put my books and cares away- -For my mind is rather hazy- I wander, hoping along the way- -To see a dandilion or daisy- I've suddenly lost all ambition- I used to be busy as a Beaver- -I'm not worried about my condition- -I think I've just got Spring Fever.
