Springing Into Spring Poem by norman hale

Springing Into Spring

Dandelions are daffodills
They will soon be everywhere
With the fragrance blowing around
For one and all to share

Lilac trees and honey bees
They all go hand-in-hand
Some folks will mow the grass
While children play in sand

So just you wait and see
Now it won't be very long
Until spring has sprung
Birds are singing their songs

The trees will be budding
That you will soon see
Bringing on natures beauty
To be shared by you and me

The Easter flowers will soon bloom
It gets closer with each time
There's a change in the silver moon
As the owls, hoots out their chimes

Yes, spring is around the corner
Some can't wait until it's here
To get this winter long behind them
Almost like, springing in a new year
