Squandered

you pretend like you dont know
you pretend like you dont care
but you may shoot me with your words
you may cut me with your eyes
you may kill me with your hatefullness
but still like air, I'll rise
I'll make it above you
keep myself drifting along
while your sinking down
you try to kill my hopes
you try to ruin my life
and yet it is you
that has a wasted life
