</>This is what I get for thinking to feel
Like I felt a connection
That for once could be real,
Just a laugh,
A sick joke
From the world of today
Knowing all the right statements to convince me to play,
And I’m a sucker
I go jump
Always landing head first,
Left to bleed and decay in the low lying dirt…
And as I fade off I wonder
I must ask again
How I said yes to this game
When I know I can’t win?
