Stale Beer Poem by Richard Noggin

Stale Beer

The taste of stale beer
Lingers on my tongue from last night
My head aches from
My unsuccessful effort
To forget your memory
My stomach demonstrates how I feel
As I vomit the toast eaten
In an attempt to settle it’s pain
All the while I
Think of you
