Stan The Man Poem by Ima Ryma

Stan The Man

Stan Musial of baseball fame
Would with his harmonica play
Yes 'Take me out to the ball game.'
'Stan the Man' wowed 'em in his day.
As hitter and outfielder champ,
He stayed and played with just one team,
The St. Louis Cardinals stamp -
He wore it with pride and esteem.
A real role model for the youth,
Giving his autograph and heart
On and off the field, in all truth,
A one of a kind work of art.

Baseball's beloved 'Stan the Man'
Gave the game a glorious span.
