Standing In My Faith Poem by Holly Jamestone

Standing In My Faith

I am standing in my faith
Bathed in love that You impart
While no one ever takes your place
Residing in my heart

You've cradled me, observed my days
And every passing hour
Lifting me when I fell down
Your strong, consoling power

I am standing in my faith
Your sweet message shining through
With conviction, I have grown
And am turning now toward you

Some days are hard to bear
And the prose have lost their rhyme
My health is compromised
Taking one day at a time

I am standing in my faith
With you in front of me
Knowing that you hear my words
Your mercy sets me free

I can see you as you heal me
I can feel you as I mend
I can taste the promise loud and clear
Both now and in the end

I am standing in my faith
Never bending, gently bowing
No one ever takes your place
As I'm simply not allowing

I am standing in my faith
As you stand right next to me
Listening to my every word
Your mercy sets me free
