I'm standing in the rain,
To wash this pain away.
I'm standing in the rain,
To heal my aching heart.
I'm standing in the rain,
To make me smile again.
I'm standing in the rain,
To help me get through,
This bumpy road.
I'm standing in the rain,
To wash my tear's away,
So no one will see me cry.
I'm standing in the rain,
To take these bad thoughts,
Out of my head.
I'm standing in the rain,
To make me feel good.
As if this was just a dream
I'm standing in the rain,
To wash all the dark stuff off.
And clean my heart.
