Star Struck Poem by Norm Milstein

Star Struck

Sing a song of countless stars
Out in the dark so deep.
May all the heavens fill your dreams
And sing you fast asleep.

May you wake refreshed at midnight
And walk outside your door.
We'll step into the boundless night
Where constellations soar.

A swan, an eagle, and a horse,
A dragon and a bear
Are flying round the sky all night
Beyond the urban glare.

You can find the Northern Crown
Or watch the Pole Star glisten.
You can hear the Sisters sing
If only you will listen.

You may trace the path of Mars
Through the vastness of the night,
Or contemplate the morning star
As it comes into sight.

Sing a song of countless stars
Out in the dark so deep.
May all the heavens fill your dreams
And sing you fast asleep.
