Stars Poem by Jonny Brackney

Stars

Rating: 4.5

i'm growing tired,
waiting on stars
to come and take me away.
to tuck my hair behind my ear
rub my chest, and love me.
crawl inside to warm me up,
soak me in satisfaction.
sing to me a happy song.
kiss my soul.
love me.
to take me up to the moon with them
surfing on earth's flood of sadness.
above it all,
just riding it...
whistling a catchy tune.
i'm watching you,
you beams of hope.
you gorgeous freckles of light.
i'm humming songs,
waiting for you.
just come on down and get me.

Have you read the poet 'AM Juster' on this site? He/She is good. Can't get 'them' to answer me. All the poems are old. I hope he/she didn't die. 'Stars' is pretty good!
