Stars and Lovers

She is the star
that thundered across my life
a thousand hours ago

while now
she is an addiction
i can't live without

she is the amplifier
of my beating heart

she makes me dance
all along the icing of my existence.

lovers by chance
and friends by day
and a million flicker of fireflies
by night

the little heavens
we make
each time we hold the other
makes life a blessing on earth.

she is my star
and i fondly her lover
making
ripples across eternity

she flies across my open sky
and melts into mist
upon my life's journey.

stars and lovers
by chance
and
for eternity.
