Stay A While Poem by Blaine Strong

Stay A While

Rating: 3.8

I know you didn't intend to bring me down.
I hope you knew that I would never stay like this.
Did you see me lying on the ground, would you pick me up? Wrap me in for a long slow kiss.
When all the other world's gave up on me, you moved into my life so cautiously. Stayed a while, then you ripped my world in two. Baby I'll still be loving you. For all my lonely days.
So won't you give me a sign? Let her know that I'm not dying, and this dusty road I'm stumbling down. Someday is going to end. You cast a spell of love on me, now I'm just a memory.
Years look back, voices crack, and teardrops start to fall. I never thought that losing you, that one mistake, now its going to cost me all.
Don't you ever try to turn your back on me, im only three feet from the wall.....
