Steadfast Anchor Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Steadfast Anchor

Yesterday, today and forever;
I am the great shepherd of the sheep;
But with that which is well pleasing to beautiful minds.
The ultimate result is what you need and,
I am here to entertain strangers;
Like the earth which drinks in the rain.

The nuclear war is at hand but my mind will still write,
For the lampstand on the table needs the showbread.
Yesterday was accordind to the first veil,
And today is with the ways of the second veil;
But the future which is forever is made according to the pattern.

Blessing and cursing comes from the same mouth,
But the inner part of my love is like the steadfast anchor;
And like the oldman and the 16-year-old girl,
The golden pot of love is like the earthly things.

Life is like an oldwoman with a 14-year-old boy,
But to him who is perfected will always seek the truth;
Earthly and heavenly things,
The likeness of Melchizedek with the praises of love;
But do come into the world with the due of the steadfast anchor.
