Still Poem by Phinda Mkhonta

Still

Still recall but cannot recollect,
The paramount eminent days;
All innocent of passion of action
Like soft cushion for us, connection
Uncorrupt when the stars of the night
Shines in flames-hearts of our passion,
This shades the season of this generation
With love, still recall but cannot recollect.

Still recall but cannot recollect,
When great fields wave and grow across our eyes,
When we dine our love on those fields shelters,
When our flesh was blended to one flesh,
When we rise from birth to live in love,
Still recall but cannot recollect.

Still recall but cannot recollect,
When you help me take off my shoes,
When you untie my shoes strings, I felt eminent,
You never give up charming off my cuff links,
Inspire me from the heart to write poems;
That nothing will tear us apart, for the constant
Tread that tires us mutually, when I prepared paramount
Dinner, your dessert, your slippers and mainly
When I dedicated everything to you,
Still recall but cannot recollect.
