Still Boring, After Alllll These Years ..... [my Response To A Ph Poem; Retired, But Not Dead Yet! ; Retirement; Humor; Kinda Short]

I don't need nor do I want '20 years' more.
I've lived long enough; sorry if......I am a bore!
I admit it. I am a nature-watcher, now retired,
but today I saw nature with an x-rating-required!

I had gone to the store to buy wife a pineapple,
when I spied a young lady, whose breasts did grapple....
with a low-cut, clinging t-shirt, trying to escape.
I hope the other shoppers did not see....how I did gape.

Now I've lost track of what I originally meant to say...
to LifeZENtirety when with his poem i started to play.
It had something to do with my life since I was a child.
I think I was going to say that I NEVER was 'daring' OR wild.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
my PH friend LifeZENtirety Luv wrote the following poem, submitted to PH.

4 U Retired Nature Watchers!

Juvenile souls quietly observing Earth's nature,
have you hidden your wild hearts, now 'acting' mature?

Grab a taxi, get on the bus,
head to town, no need to fuss!

Find a lively bar, with music blaring,
Run inside, DANCE, act daring!

Turn that 'tired' blood
back into sparkling Brandy,
It will buy you 20 years,
it may come in handy!

======================= i couldn't resist answering him. and the only thing NOT TRUE about my poem is the part about losing track of what i was going to say. i may also have mislead you; i had left the grocery store and was in the hardware store when i saw the 'babe'. bri :)

JUVENILE SOULS... HAVE YOU HID YOUR WILD HEARTS? - that's the challenge proposed by your PH friend's poem Your poem in response certainly shows how easily the wild heart can be aroused in us old duffers, and perhaps more than the heart is aroused! But, hey, we're talking poetically here. But I still think whatever atavistic energy survives in us civilized people should be encouraged, and if a girl in a hardware store is the stimulus, bless her - she and the pineapple both stand for the unquenchable life force. Excelsior!

Nice one Bri I can just imagine you in the shop with pineapple in hand and all sorts going on in your mind. No doubt if Mrs Bri was there you would have got a slap
