Still Harder Not To Poem by Wakefield Mahon

Still Harder Not To

Picture
It's hard to love you
Still harder not to
You make me furious
With habits curious
You make me smile
With the eyes of a child

It's hard to love you
Still harder not to
You leave me distressed
This I must confess
You make me feel weak
Quite lowly and meek

It's hard to love you
Still harder not to
With or without you
You don't leave a doubt to
The question of whether
I'll stay here forever

It's hard to love you
Still harder not to
So often, we fight
We're both wrong and right
Still, I find this true
I'll always love you
