Still Somewhere Poem by Thomas Hooker

Still Somewhere

Achingly desperate,
reaching for words can
seem insatiable,

losing time, pondering
the drawers, where the lost
words and memories lie,

locked away, in a secret
place somewhere, like
a mouse trapped in a maze.

Remember the life essence,
not the shell, I'm still here,
hiding somewhere,

Still somewhere...
