Still, Still I Love You Poem by Federico del Corazón

Still, Still I Love You

No longer lost in time,
you have become a dear friend of mine.
You have freed me with your affection.
Taking me to a new destinations.
Everyday I learn,
I learn about you,
Everyday I learn about me.
I find new things that I like about you.
The way you walk,
the way you talk
The books that you like to read,
the music that moves you.
The questions that you ask.
There is so much about you that I want to know.
Thank you for making me feel this way.
I never felt this way before,
I never been so loved,
I never felt my heart so full that it has to weep.
Still, still I love you.
I am infused in your love.
Letting it cover me with all of its mysteries.
Still, still I love you
I hang on to your ever-loving words
You are so alive;
I love being exhausted by your thoughts
because all I do is think about you.
I need to breathe you in,
as of late breathing has been hard for me to do.
I gasp and struggle,
the air is not enough.
With your charming eyes I am lost in your touch.
Hold me tight in your embrace, whisper in my ear “I love you”.
Life is good, We are good
Exhaling and breathing each other in
Finally we are at rest
