Stolen Emotion Poem by Muriel Ruth Emerson

Stolen Emotion

What have you ruined?
A black cloud of pain as feelings disappear
Once we were together in heaven
Innocent and hand in hand,
But your love vanished
A hateful pool of lies
Memories follow pain, follow death
Love left to die
In a rush of sorrow
I still love you
