* Stolen Moon Beam Poem by Bonnie Collins

* Stolen Moon Beam

Rating: 3.3

When the fullest of the moons shine so
brightly is trully when I look up and wonder
how many moons have been and gone

How many have taken me to an island
of intoxication with aromas of the enchanted
flowers that seemed to tranqilize my mind
with the memory that has taken my soul hostage

Life is given to us with no guraentee, it has gifted
us with many decions in life to make, some will
not always be the the best interest, however
none the less, we decided them at a time
when it seemed so right

But never did it say when the moon shines
so brightly can you not want to recapture
a stolen moon beam........

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

As usual Bonnie, this poem is Oh! so romantic. Stunning images - intoxication of aromas of enchanted flowers. The last line made me drool as I imagined you recapturing your love from this moon beam. 10 Karin Anderson

Bonnie, I loved this poem. It is beautiful. It reveals the truth. Nothing in life can ever be the best It ever changes for better than the rest Never put your life to test It is a celebration, rejoice and fest CP

Bonnie, this is a very beautiful poem and as I read it you drew me into the action by making me believe that I could actually steal a moon beam. Very real and artistically written. I enjoyed it very much, a ten. Lynn

I miss the moon maybe I'll see it soon For the sun does shine But the night is not mine The moon hides away It never shows me its sway I miss the moon Maybe I'll see it soon.
