Stop Calling Poem by Prince ....

Stop Calling

Another sleepless night at home
All alone
As the vibrations go off on my phone

Not answering your calls
Not letting you make me feel small
I’m really just trying to stall

Sneaking out into the hall
What time is it ya’ll?
I don’t know
But I don’t really care
Cause time doesn’t matter when I’m there!

Not surrendering
To what I know is hindering
My life

Taking one step into the hall
The blue glow coming off my phone
Pretending that I’m not at home

Sneaking out
Its one AM
Just need to get away from them

Walking in the street light glow
Pretending I know
Where to go

Listen to the crickets sing
Serenity
Never brings
The piece
Of what I need

Missing clues
And hidden lies
Remembering what I despise

Your calling me again
Pretending that your still my friend
Did I not tell you this was the end?

Yeah I’m crazy
And it’s cold
Its dark outside
And this love hangover is getting old!

I walk the street like its mine
Barefoot
And I feel just fine
Knowing that
I’m alone
That no one cares if I’m at home

Walking through the neighbors grass
Wishing that you’d stop calling at last!
You never seem to get the point

Don’t got the nerve to turn off the phone
Just staring down my street
Not worrying about who I’ll meet
I feel so incomplete

Yes I’m crazy
But I’m alone
The vibrating stops on the phone…
So I go home

Trying to fall asleep
A Quarter past two
My mind fills
With images of you
And that stupid phone!
I’m never alone!

Yes I’m crazy
And I’m tired
My patience has finally expired!

I’m done with you
These late night walks too!

Fell asleep
At three AM
With nightmares
Then my consciousness tares
I’m wide awake
And I’m scared
Of a dream I will
Never recall
I hope your happy with this all!

I’m haunted by that stupid phone
It always reminds me I’m alone!
And that you’re sad
Somewhere
Wising for me!

I hope you stay that way
Unhappy
For all your days
So I can say:
I hate you
I miss you
I’m all alone haunted by my stupid phone
Will you stop calling me? !
Please!
