Stop Talking To Your Mind, It Will Go Away Like a Friend

Stop talking completely to a friend and see what happens
He's dis you and be gone, done with your crappin'

Move on to bug somebody else who will entertain him

Your mind is like that shiddy friend,
you don't need him around
so stop talking to him and stop listening to him howl

Be still, peaceful and silent

no creating, no replicating, no debating...

Just BE still and find God in the stillness
that is where he/she hides

Turning the mind volume down
is turning the God volume up

You decide how to handle the knob
You own it or does it own you?

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
