Love is a storm,
Sudden, unexpected,
Powerful. It drives itself upon you,
Torrential, bright, loud.
Its excitement thrills you,
Enters your soul in a blur.
But- like a storm- it is gone,
Sudden, unexpected,
Powerful. Its void leaves you empty,
Dry.
