Storm Before Sunset Poem by Benjamin Jansen

Storm Before Sunset

Energy floats freely throughout the air,
Intakes of breath vitalize the mind and enhance the soul,
Excitement grows and body's move rapidly,
A rain dance happens just by chance,
Only follows the wind,
Hair blows and voices tremble,
Life becomes a graveyard of anticipation,
While the earth sings another act of powerful organic symphonies,
The creatures lay quiet until intermission,
A burst of joy reckons the sound waves,
A glorious uplifting applause follows for days to come,
Until mother earth is prepared for another one.
