Strangers Meet Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Strangers Meet

Rating: 5.0

When two stranger meet on the way
They express surprises and try to be away
Knowing fully well that his is just an coincidence
And it is not going to carry any relevance

They would converse for few seconds and prepare to part
It will their onward journey and preparation to start
They are sure of not meeting again and exchange warms words
But wish it strongly and exchange few pleasantries in the name of God

But in real life too we act no less than strangers
Try to snatch as far as possible as bad managers
We care for no sentiments or relation
Pose all sorts of problems and raise questions

Where and when do we regard fellow human?
Why do we discriminate between man and woman?
Why even keep distance from good people and try to cheat?
Where time with us to offer little is smile and greet?

We all run after simple formality
Concentrate more on turn out and personality
We take pride in demonstrating it as ability
Where people already know about it as bad quality!

I would suggest a pure mechanism
Where everything is guided by humanism
Man may be poor, little intelligent or fool
Yet he deserves everything in full

Why can’t we offer honor and dignity?
How can we claim it as pure amenity?
It is pure grace from powerful almighty
We are simple creature to accept it as pity

Either of sex is important and meant of each others
Life circle will be incomplete without one another
This must be borne in mind and acted together
As whole load of life will be carried further
