Street Dwellers Poem by Bidyut Jyoti Sarma

Street Dwellers

I am a dweller of this busy soil
Sitting here before the heat of the day
Wayfarers steps break my dream
It gives me a sense of day spring!
Skyscrapers are not my dream
I am writhing under the heat of tent
Essence of aristocrats touch my insipid soul
It plays a role in filling up my empty bawl!
