Street Of No Tomorrow Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Street Of No Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

On the street of sorrow
the street with no tomorrow
the fires of rage and hate
burn deep inside,
a flame that never dies

Sadness and happiness
are the same to the people
who remain strangers
in this street of pain

Nobody caring
everybody just keeps on walking
nobody wants to know the people
on the street of no tomorrow

Always remember
there but for the grace of god
it could be you

So well stated, and true.

We are gradually getting distant ourselves from the society. It happens everywhere! Good reminder, Dave!

So nice, the way that the poem is being told is awfully NICE! he he, i really love the work, the strange street, i don't like to walk in this street, kind of weird road way. Great work dear Dave.

This seems a very sad street, but guess there are many in the world like it, As you say, -But for the grace of god-- a thoughtful statement in this poem.
