You've been through so much trauma And you still stand strong You're one of gods better people Your soul sings a song
Your eyes tell a story Of the paths you have tread But you're not as i'd put it Very easily led
I've just started to notice How an angel would be As my heart feels warmer When you glance over at me
I could never imagine Having to cope with your pain Yet you're still living life Striving for something to gain
You don't give up easy An i admire that in you Through you weary eyes You must see a clear view
When your time on earth is up There's not a question in mind Heaven holds a place for you That is reserved in time

The only typo I could find Lucy was 'reserved' on the last line. I am glad that this womans struggle is an inspiration to you and your poem a sweet tribute to her determination to keep going forward. A Compassionate write, don't allow anyone to knock it out of you, Tai
