Strife Poem by Cody O'Hara

Strife

The rhythm of life
Moves on without strife

We dance together
As if in forever

The past teaches more
That so many ignore

Greatness at a cost
What do you will to be lost

We must pay our dues
But not all have heard the news

All together
We individuals weather
Like lies sown together

Things we did not expect
Not giving us time to protect

The things we love most
Like our families up close

Because so many lie
Causing too many to die

Why can't we sit and discuss
Instead of cuss

The world would be better
Having more held together

Letting the rhythm of life
Continue without...
STRIFE
