Sublime Irony Poem by Dan Brown

Sublime Irony

Rating: 4.3

I remember your cruel jibes when
I told you I was gay.
I remember you laughing when
my partner left me for someone else.
Now, it’s my turn, you see.
Because your partner,
your very straight partner,
has just left you.
and he’s left you, for me.
Fancy that.

Oh this drips with the sweetness of a dish served cold! I almost laughed out loud at the sharpness of it.
