I can't seem to shake you
Try as hard as I might
There's something still there
I don't want to fight


It's clear enough you've moved on
If you were ever here
But I can't seem to remember that
Anytime you draw near


So I'll tell myself what I have to
To be able to still face these days
When you've twisted the knife
You move on but the pain stays


My friends all think I'm stupid
Or they would if they only knew
You've gotten way over me
But I'll never be over you
