Sucrose

Sucrose
(Two Pairs of Couplets●Seven Words of Quatrain)

Long pavilion borrows rain to shed parting tears
Art and literary circles obtain spring to bloom hundred flowers
Magpie doesn't know sorrow's flavour
Sucrose doesn't understand career of bitter

Luo, this is intriguing. The English translation doesn't make as much sense as it should. Do you know any EFL poets who could help you? I might play around with it and see if i can come up with a GOOD poem in English, which is the point of translation, right? If you'd like, check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Tell me how you like it. Thanks! Yrs, JC
