Suicide Poem by Haellee Danielle Thomas

Suicide

Suicide is my way out
This I will not doubt
I tried so hard to smile
But it only lasted a while
Tears ran down my face
As my thought began to race
Telling me I won't get well
Screaming my life is hell
So I lost all hope
And found a rope
Tied it In a pretty bow
My heart began to sink low
Put it on a tall tree
Stood on the latter and counted to three
Put the rope around my neck
I know that I am a reck
Kick the latter on the ground
Hoping my body won't be found
Life flashing before my eyes
Never got to say goodbye
Why did it have to end like this
Rope on my neck cuts on my wrist
I love you all
But I just had to fall
Now I slowly close my eyes
Then I start to cry
But now I'm free
So let me be
Now ends my pain
It begins to rain
This is all I wanted to feel no pain
So I am thankful for all the rain
