Suicide Smile Poem by Lexie Mulkey

Suicide Smile

How could you do such a thing! That's what they screech.
Their eyes are piercing your way
You look to find the comfort, but does some come to you
I think not.

They think your insane that's what they screech
You cover your ears screaming 'No, It's not true! '
But you don't hear yourself because their voices trample through
Like a heard of Rhinos

They all don't understand
They find you a circus animal
They don't understand that their words are like arrows
crashing through your world.
You try to explain but none listen to you
Their screeches much louder than yours will ever be.

So What Is It You Do?

None can find you,
They look up, down, all around,
But you think why do they search since they call you a fool.
You think that this silence is more comforting than this world will ever be

You wonder on it and think that I could call death
And have this silence forever
I hope you change your mind
You a creation.
You have a reason to live and that train only comes around once.

The voices that once screeched come to a cease.
You have found peace but did you call death.

-I Think Not-

You found your comfort
You fond your hope
You fond it just because of the smile given to you
You think what a precious gift.
Then you give one right back and you found a reason to live.
