Summer Melt Down Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Summer Melt Down

Rating: 4.5

Ice cream cones and a leisurely walk
Shadowed by a building with a clock
Summer heat melts flavor as we talk
Muggy steam created a vanilla flow…
A stream that ran down to my elbow
Passersby hide thoughts as they gawk
Avoiding contact… traveling the block

You have created a nice picture with interesting rhymes that do not distract but add interest and your have successfully concentrated the picture to this one scene in space and time.
