Summer Shower Poem by Sudam Panigrahi

Summer Shower

What if the road bifurcates?

What if the river parts ways,

What if you see East,

And I towards the west?

One day the road merges,

Rivers towards sea, surge,

And you see me

I towards you.

Just a matter of time,

As we rhymed,

We will rhyme,

And weave

Rhyme after rhymes

On the strings of time

When sea has less brine.

Waiting for the next rain of summer

When jasmine fragrance

Mix with rain fury

A perfect dais for our dance

Drinking the wine of

Rain and summer.
