Summertime Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Summertime

Rating: 5.0

I recall the summers of yesterday
The thought of them somehow won't go away
The laughter, the play, and the sunny days
The people, the places, all the joy too
I recall the moments and I remember you
Better days, I pray should come
Yet the days before was a lot of fun
I still smile about summers of yesterday
May those fond memories linger forever
In a variety of ways
I love those summer days
