Sun's Poem Poem by Robert Ruiz

Sun's Poem

Rating: 5.0

If All the World’s a King
And I its fool
A fate I’m told is set in stone
Then I indeed am all alone

But if the world is really upside down
And you wear a smile
And I a frown

Who then is king?

If this life is, “but a dream”
And precious little what it seems
Who really sits astride the throne?
And who indeed is all alone?

Are King and fool but really one?

If nothing then in stone is set
Then what we see is what we get.
So guess again at whom it is
That fools you with a simple kiss

Since there’s been time and life began
Since there’s been life and Everyman.
