Sun Set Poem by Princess Kathleene Gabunales

Sun Set

white sand covered with white pearls and shells
all over the place
with seaweeds rushing the shoreline
look into the deepest ocean
there is a paradise above chaos
swim into the realm and dream on for a time
every color and species seen through under

a tree is standing nearby
all alone and in the night
when the wind blows
and the wind gets a little colder
it is hoping that somebody will stand beside
sit under as they enjoy the scenery
the sunrise-oh what a beauty

when the world seems to different in ways
look into the water
a mirror of what is real
giving an idea of is meant
and what is done

dark clouds covering the bluesky slowly
and the sun says 'goodbye'
still white sand covered with pearls and shells
seaweeds rushing in the shoreline
take a breath-
take a rest-
a sun set.
