Sunday Poem by Duncan Stephen

Sunday

Rating: 5.0

Out of bed at six thirty
Make wife a cup of tea
Feed the cats
Cup of tea for myself
Sit and relax for a couple of hours
Its quarter ast nine time to get ready for meeting for worship

Go to meeting back in two hours
Wife already preparing Sunday dinner
Roast beef with all the trimmings
Great meal dishes done
We sit down together and have a cup of tea

Relax watch television
Stop boys arguing peace reigns
Cats want feeding pitiful meows tell me so
Buster and Choco settle down to have a nap

Time marches on
Half past nine time for a hot drink
Talk about the day
Upto bed at ten o clock
Read for a time
Lights out at eleven wife working early shift in morning

Lovely little poem make us jealous of those families who enjoy their Sunday like it is an important festival. Really enjoyed. Thanks.
