for today
As they'll join forces on this very day
And give us all a magical Sunday
At least in that very sense of that term we hope

It's the Sunday of sweet dreams
And we're all dressed in what we dreamt
Let's all combine the right ingredients for this
day
Whether something works
Or doesn't work
Let's have fun the best way we can

On this Sunday of sweet dreams
We can explain the sincerity of our dreams
We can describe the innocence of our thoughts

With this Sunday of sweet dreams
Fantasy and reality are best friends
So let's kick back
Let's have fun
And while we're at it
Let's play some games
Whether we win or lose
Or either of us wins or loses
We had fun either way
In the end we might have enjoyed all the pleasures
that this day has offered us
