Sunflower Poem by Allan James Saywell

Sunflower

I pictured a vase
Full of sunflower
Their colour was yellow
Green brown - White
The eye of the flower
Stared back at me
They had no ear
The leaf was green
But the green appeared tired
The name of the vase was vincent
It sat in a desert
With a pale blue sky
