Sunset Poem by Paul Warren

Sunset

Golden sunlight streaming down
Shadows lengthen as the day dies down
Weary birds wheel and dive around
As the city closes and life winds down

Parents greet children at the door
Kisses and snuggles are the score
A family evening in the hours ahead
Until time for sleeping then into bed.
