Sunset Dream Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sunset Dream

Sunset dream

Wasn't I, wasn't me
-there was war, intensive
-I sharpened my sword and
-out of sheath…

I jumped up, grabbed Sun
-her collar in my hand
-I pushed hard

I shouted like thunder:
-where you go?
-is it dusk?

My mom said:
-"Sun is girl,
-and Moon, her brother! "
-then went on:
-"They had a power fight,
-Sun attacked with her nail…
-…and Moon was blinded! "

Unlike Mom I had guts
-asked the sun in her eye:
-"Is it right? "

Sun being powerful, chose to run
-dragged me all along
-my feet were on ground
-raising dust

Used my sword
-and stabbed the sun's side
-came blood

The two mixed…
-dust, blood
-this is what sunset is…
-in sky when sun is on a run…
