Sunsets And Wild Roses Poem by Marilyn Lott

Sunsets And Wild Roses

Rating: 5.0

I saw the most magnificent sight
As the sun dropped behind the trees
So lovely I had to pause
Yes, sir it just made me freeze

For the pink wild Roses stood out
As the sky was beginning to darken
Streaked with multicolors
The roses seemed to blend right in

The river flowed softly beyond
I know you would love it too
After a day so warm and sweet
A sky that was an egg shell blue

It was a sight quite unlike any other
And the question always poses
Is anything more beautiful than
Sunsets and Wild Roses?

You are a romantic soul Marilyn and so right with this one. We tend to miss out on some of these wonderful sights, being too busy to notice. Oh what we miss! ! ! ! ! Lovely poem. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
