Rating: 5.0

critics should create
to illustrate all lacking
within creative efforts

defining other minds
wonderous artistic world enriching
to uphold to uplift us all;

realizing
that an artistic goal
might

be catalyst chemical
urge compulsion accelerant
energetic reactions weeping;

precious pondered infusions
ash enthusiastic artistic implosions
created sight sense stimulus

snare art designed precipitate
ash blazing regeneration renewal
phoenix genius fertilizer fuel

pellets igniting body mind soul
blazing body burning into regenerated life
birth born bright renewal perceptions

sometimes one of the most beautiful experiences when interacting with other poets is the ripples which enter our lives, words poems we write which we would never have written without their fleeting passing Metamorphosis Writer Poet Birth Flight in the beginning fledgling poet writer was wet wings flutter curiosity ignored then a flicker of fleeting interest briefly flamed stamped out dushed fickle feign friends laugh ridicule efforts fight art aspiring words dismiss with dart put downs but words flood storm horizons beauty gift given fills books Copyright © Terence George Craddock Dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and Mihaela Pirjol. Inspired by the quote 'First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.' by Mahatma Gandhi.

While reading your poem, a quote by Mahatma Gandhi flickered in my mind: '' First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. '' Somehow, your poem goes in parallel with this quote.
