Supernova Poem by Alexander Thomas

Supernova

From the deep core of the brightest star,
With cosmic forces in destiny combined,
A light grows in intensity to shine afar,
Of love's fire with mortal fate intertwined.

In symmetrical chemistry the celestial dance,
With jarring frustration to ever closer embrace,
A gravitational pull towards irresistible romance,
The glow to illuminate the darkness of space.

By the inescapable grip of divine annihilation,
From the imploding inferno of the heart torn,
In melting time come the elements of creation,
A golden new day for poetry will be reborn.
