Supernova Poem by Herman Dexter

Supernova

She started the war
When she collapsed my core
She ruined my day
Fusion runaway

I'm turning into a supernova
All thanks to you
You killed off Casanova
You choked him he's turning blue

I'll explode in the twinkling of an eye
I'm just a bright star in the night sky
You were so cruel you left me high and dry
I'm all outta fuel I collapse and sigh:

I'm turning into a supernova
All thanks to you
You killed off Casanova
You choked him he's turning blue

Its all such a trajedy I feel like Macbeth
I suffer catastrophic stellar death
You left me for another I just cannot accept
You drained all my energy as I mutter under my breath:

I'm turning into a supernova
All thanks to you
You killed off Casanova
You choked him he's turning blue

Supernova
My colors are turning to blue
I'm a supernova
All thanks to you

I'm turning into a supernova
All thanks to you
You killed off Casanova
You choked him he's turning blue

I'm turning into a supernova
All thanks to you
You killed off Casanova
You choked him he's turning blue
