Supernova Burning Bright Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Supernova Burning Bright

These are
the last days
of the sun.

Behold the sun
is gloriously
burning bright.

The last days
of a solitary sun
burning into contemplation.

A bright supernova
among darker
background constellations.

I torched
am a stellar body
burning bright.

Come walk in
the consuming light
I leave for you.

I torched
am a stellar body
burning bright.

Come dance
come celebrate the passage
left by a blazing light.

sun phoenix expanding
experientially exponentially
in ashen cosmic luminosity

exponentially momentarily
burst breath taking supernova
luminous outshines briefly

may outshine an entire galaxy
supreme beauty blazes forth radiant
seed stellar soul outstrip gravity
