Survival Poem by Patricia Gale

Survival

Rating: 5.0

Drifting away into a sea of dreams
Straight into your arms
Meet by lips of golden kisses
Secure and safe on the isle of you

Basking into your eyes
Feeling the heat from your soul
As you cover me with breezes of sweet, sweet love
Lost in the land of you and I

Surviving on heart felt passions
Hunger fills me but your touch sustains me
Thirsty for just one more sup from your loving cup
Rescued by your love

Awakening to a deserted room
Abandoned from the dream
The sands of time become reality
Till we meet again on the isle of you and I
